This tour was a good experience because one doesn't need a car to see main attractions in the city. You learn some interesting facts about famous locations and get to take pictures for a short while in certain areas. Not sure what happened, maybe because we started late, we had to rush at the ending of our tour and I felt a little unsatisfied with that. Miki U., 840, 05-2008

Ordering system via web site was easy, even for me. Our five week holiday in California and Oregon was a long awaited dream come true. An absolute Plus was being picked up from the Hotel in order to get to the tour starting point. Also very good were the various stops, i.e. Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Alamo Square. In certain other places (where the bus was not allowed to go)it would have been a good idea to go a bit more slowly, for everybody to be able to see.
However, for those travelers who only got 2 days in SF, this tour - in combination with an Alcatraz ticket - is the best way to get an overall view of the city.Susanne L., 278, 09-2007

First reserve the San Francisco City Tour. We will reserve the Alcatraz Ferry Tickets for you as a second reservation. There will be 2 credit card charges. 1 for the City Tour and 1 for the Alcatraz Ferry.

City Tour Departure Point and Schedules:
The City Tour departs at 10:00
AM or 2:00 PM from the SuperSightseeing Office, 2627 Taylor Street, San
Francisco, CA 94133 - located at the corner of Taylor and North Point,
across from the Hayatt Fisherman's Wharf Hotel. Passengers should meet
at this address 15 minutes prior to departure.
Departure Times and Alcatraz Ticket Information:
The tour schedule for the day depends on the availability for Alcatraz ferry tickets.
For example, if Alcatraz Ferry is available in the morning; We will pick you up from your Hotel (if requested) and bring you to Fisherman's Wharf. You will pick up tickets for the Alcatraz Ferry direct from the Pier 33 "Will Call" window. After your Alcatraz Tour you return to the Ghirardelli Square Tour Office to join the City Tour at approximately 1:45 pm.
If there is no availability for Alcatraz ferry in the morning, upon arrival at Fisherman's Wharf you will start with the City Tour and then continue to Pier 33 and the Alcatraz Ferry and Tour in the afternoon.
If Alcatraz is sold out for the date requested you will not recieve Alcatraz tickets and will not be charged for that portion of the Combination tour order. If your Credit Card is declined by the Alcatraz Cruises order system you will not recieve Alcatraz Tickets.
Confirmed Alcatraz ticket reservations will be sent to you in a seperate email. The fees for Alcatraz Ferry are not included in the charges for the City Tour. You have booked 2 seperate reservations and will recieve 2 confirmations and 2 seperate credit card charges. Each part of the order is confirmed as tickets become available. Alcatraz Tickets are only available for booking for the next 90 days. There will be delays for the Alcatraz part of the orders that are booked 90 days or more in advance.

Confirmation & Travel Vouchers
For every confirmed booking you will receive 2 e-mails with your
E-Ticket Vouchers - when both parts of your combo tour booking are
confirmed. Please present the 1st E-Ticket voucher at the Tour Office
for your City Tour. The 2nd email will be your reservation and receipt
for the Alcatraz ferry.
Alcatraz Tickets are held at Pre-Paid Will Call:
Your Alcatraz boarding tickets will be held at the Alcatraz Cruises Dock at PIER 33.
When you present your Alcatraz Voucher, picture ID and credit card used
on the reservation transaction the boarding tickets are printed. Be
sure to show up 30 to 45 minutes before your Alcatraz cruise! Tickets
may not be picked up prior to the tour date.

The National Park Pass is not applicable to the Alcatraz Tour. No
exchanges, refunds or cancellations. You may purchase up to 8 tickets
on the web. Alcatraz is a National Park and does not offer any refunds
or discounts.
IMPORTANT: CITY TOUR: Tour cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations of the City Tour prior to 24 hours are charged a $10 per person administration fee. No shows will be charged.
