I would recommend the tour to the Muir Woods. It is a breathtaking location. I found that our visit there was far too short. I also found the time spent in Sausalito too short as well. Perhaps a longer tour of Muir Woods is what I truly desired. Our bus driver/tour guide was extremely informative and entertaining. He made the tour extremely worthwhile. Gail H., 124, 08-2007
We had a wonderful time on this tour. We took two children, ages 11 and 12 and they loved it too. Great venture. Muir Woods was beautiful and Sausalito was a beautiful area to look in shops, eat and then ride the ferry home to San Francisco area. Lisa A., 840, 06-2007
This tour was a great way to spend the afternoon; the Muir Woods were beautiful and it was nice to enjoy the majestic trees and the quiet of the woods. Sausalito was a picturesque little spot; it would have been nice to have a little bit more time to spend there, just to relax & enjoy the surroundings. Our stay was only for about 1-hr. I appreciated the attention of the tour driver, on our return to San Francisco, as he delivered all passengers to their personal lodgings. Jan S., 124, 05-2007

Nestled at the foot of Mount Tamalpais is Muir Woods National Monument, one of the remaining groves of first growth coastal redwoods. Entrance to Muir Woods National Monument is included in the price of the tour.
Departure Point:
Tour departs from 865 Beach Street, San Francisco 94109, in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. Complimentary Hotel pick-up is available from most San Francisco City Hotels. Hotels in the Immediate San Francisco Airport Area require an additonal per person fee of $5.00. 9:00am Departure: Hotel pick-up from 8:10-8:45am
11:00am Departure: Hotel pickup from 10:10-10:45am. Operates May - October 31st ONLY.
2:00pm Departure: Hotel pickup from 1:10-1:45pm
Return Details:
- Tour concludes at the original departure point in Fisherman's Wharf or at your hotel. For Airport Hotels, there is one return time at approximately 6:00pm.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10.00 per person administration fee. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
Recommended for all tours in San Francisco: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing.
Weather permitting. If seasonal fog obscures the view, tour route may be altered.
Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
