The Napa Valley wine train was well worth the money. The train was outstanding and food excellence. Our server was exceptionally knowledge about the area and told us about things we didn't even know were in the vicinity. The food was delicious. The ride was beautiful. And the staff was wonderful with the exception of check-in. I had a friend who booked separately and when I asked the lady at the check-in counter, she said we'd probably sit in different cars and wouldn't be able to sit together. She gave me an attitude when I tried to explain my situation, so I just dropped it and figured I'd deal with it on the train. This activity is cool if you just want to spend some time with a special someone. The train moves extremely slow and you do not get off at any point on the excursion. I would suggest doing the winery tour in addition to the wine trainBrandon I., 840, 11-2007

Usually my husband and I rent a car and tour on our own. Whoever is driving always misses a lot of the scenery. On the Gourmet Wine Train we both got to relax and see everything while enjoying a leisurely glass of Red and a Gourmet meal. Departure Location and Parking:
Wine Train Excursions leave from 1275 McKinstry Street, Napa, CA 94559. Hotel pick up is not provided for this activity. Complimentary parking is available for all Wine Train guests.
Directions:
From Marin, San Francisco, Peninsula -via Golden Gate Bridge: Take 101 north to Highway 37 east. Take Highway 121 towards Napa, 121 connects with Highway 29. Turn left, take 29 north. Exit Lincoln Avenue. Go east on Lincoln Avenue. Turn right on Soscol Avenue. Turn left at light onto First Street then immediately turn left again onto McKinstry Street. Make second left into driveway for parking at the McKinstry Street Depot.
Alternate route: Take I-80 East. Exit Napa/Columbus Parkway to Hwy 29. Turn right heading North on Hwy 29. Exit Napa/Lake Berryessa. This road becomes Soscol Ave. in Napa. Continue on Soscol Ave. Turn right on First St. Turn Left on McKinstry Street. Approximate travel time from San Francisco is 1hr and 20min. 50 minutes from Marin County.
Handicapped Accessibility:
The Napa Valley Wine Train , although not required by the ADA (due to historic renovation), can be somewhat accessible to travellers with minimum mobility limitations. Wheelchairs measuring no wider than 26" can be accommodated onboard via our wheelchair lift. Advance notification and specific discussion of mobility restrictions is necessary in order to facilitate serving limitation needs and Boarding. Due to the unique boarding timing procedures, advance notification is critical to insure comfort for all guests.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:
This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for NO SHOWS. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
Recommended Attire - Dress Code: Brunch and lunch are casual. Please NO old or faded jeans. During dinner, jackets are suggested but not required; ladies should dress as they would for dining in any fine restaurant. The Napa Valley Wine Train , although not required
