With over 50 Years of flying experience on San Francisco Bay, you are guaranteed a magical tour above some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

San Francisco Seaplane Tours operates out of two locations: Pier 39 in San Francisco and Sausalito in Marin County off Highway 101.

Daily Golden Gate Flight departures are offered from both locations. The Champagne Flight departs from our Sausalito location only.

Seaplanes are ideal for sightseeing and photography. Their high wings, large view windows and untinted glass present panoramic views and unrivaled photo opportunities. Passenger capacity varies from 3 to 7, depending on the aircraft and all seats sold are window seats.

TOUR 3 - CHAMPAGNE FLIGHT- Departs Sausalito

30 MINUTES - Times: 4:30PM (winter) & 5:15PM (summer) 40 MINUTES A Premium Tour for that special occasion. As you sip your Champagne and watch the beautiful views, this romantic flight cruises north over the lakes of Mount Tamalpais then down the coast and over the Golden Gate Bridge, arriving over San Francisco. You'll then head back to the Seaplane Base, passing between Sausalito and the Tiburon-Belvedere Peninsula. The flight lasts 40 minutes. This flight is only available from our Sausalito location. Golden Gate SAUSALITO Seaplane Tour DNU

Sausalito: The main office is located at the Stinson Beach/Mill Valley exit off Highway 101, just 5 minutes North of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.

San Francisco PIER 39: A new Seaplane Dock is under construction at our Pier 39 location.

During the construction phase we will be operating tours out of our Sausalito Seaplane Base (4 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge). Shuttles from Pier 39 are available. We can confirm your PIER 39 shuttle departure time upon reciept of your Seaplane Flight order.

The Pier 39 San Francisco Seaplane base is in the Marina at Pier 39, The Seaplane ticket office is located on the main level, right side, just past the NFL Shop.

About SF Seaplane Tours:

The seaplane base in Sausalito has been in continuous operation since 1945. Over the years it has been used as a training base for seaplane pilots, a departure point for scheduled seaplane flights to Lake Tahoe, a departure point for commuter helicopter flights to SFO, and of course, for sightseeing. It is ideally suited for sightseeing flights of San Francisco and its beautiful surroundings… easily reached from San Francisco, and by anyone traveling along Highway 101.

In 1994, San Francisco Seaplane Tours opened a second base in San Francisco, at Pier 39. For this operation, they brought in the ultimate Alaskan-style bush plane: a deHavilland Beaver.

Daily sightseeing flights are offered from both locations, using either the deHavilland Beaver or the Cessna 180 Seaplane. Maxium of 3 passengers.

Departure Times:

Departure times Daily: 11:15AM 12:00 Noon, 1:30PM, 2:15 PM, 3:00PM, 3:45PM and 4:30 PM. Please call 24 hours prior to tour date to reconfirm your departure time. Please call between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM Pacific Time.

Confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours, subject to availability

Recommended: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing.

Weather permitting. If seasonal fog obscures the view, flight route may be altered.

Meals, Gratuities and Souveniers are not included.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10 per person administration fee. No Shows will be charged.
