Waterfalls, glaciated cliffs, bears, hiking, Giant Sequoias, swimming, snow, amazing trails, rock climber spotting, sunny weather, meeting new people and having a laugh are among the never to be forgotten experiences you can have on a two day Incredible Adventures camping trip.

We're coming into our 13th year of offering backpackers and travelers the best way to experience Yosemite in a relaxed fun filled atmosphere at a very good price. Because we mix the hiking up and include a free day where you can choose the trails you wish to hike nobody is put under pressure and at the same time nobody is held back. The itinerary varies depending on the time of year, weather conditions, snow level and a number of other possibilities that are largely out of our control but because we know the park so well we always put on an interesting schedule and bring you to Yosemite's most spectacular hikes.

We stay at the Cedar Lodge which is situated in the picturesque Merced River Canyon close to the river. The river flows heavy in spring and early summer but is beautiful to swim in during August and September. Cedar Lodge has private beach access to the Merced River along with an indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. All you need to hike with is a day pack as we leave your luggage at the hotel during the day.

Yosemite Summer 2 Day Tour Details:

Day 1:

Leave San Francisco in the early morning and head for the Giant Sequoia trees (weather permitting). The hike through the Sequoias is shaded and pleasant and brings you right up close to these massive wooden monuments, some of which are over one thousand years old and measure up to 30ft wide & 300ft tall. This walk is approximately 2-3 miles roundtrip. We will have a pinic lunch (included) among the giant sequoias.

The Yosemite Valley is approximately 1 mile (1.5 km) wide and 7 miles (10 km) long. During this time we make numerous stops for you to enjoy, photograph and appreciate the spectacular beauty that is Yosemite. You will see the valley from a number of great vantage points, possibly the best of which is Inspiration Point at 4,500 feet above sea level. Yosemite is a mecca for rock climbers and the sight of people climbing El Capitan's 3,000 ft (1 km) sheer rock face is quite amazing (seasonal).

The High Country of Yosemite ranges from 8,000ft to the peak of Mt. Lyle which is over 13,000ft high! Most often we visit Glacier Point (seasonal) on these tours where you can look down on the valley from a bird’s-eye view 3,000ft above. In addition to the spectacular views you can take a hike to the top of Sentinel Dome or Taft Point. On one of the days you will have the opportunity to hike amongst the Giant Sequoias, the largest living things on the planet. This plant species is found in one area of the world only, the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

For the afternoon we head into Yosemite Valley for a guided tour of view points above the Valley of the famous rock formations and waterfalls. After this overview, you will have time to hike some of the shorter trails, explore the museums, visitors center or Ansel Adams gallery and much more. In the evening, we head to our lodging for dinner and time to hang out by the river.

Day 2:

Rising early we eat breakfast (included), pack up, and head off in the van to Glacier Point (weather permitting) which is one of the most famous views of Yosemite. From here you will have the option to hike one of Yosemite's breathtaking trails, the Panoramic Trail. Takes you past 3 waterfalls, the Illilouette Falls, Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls and sweeping views of Yosemite Valley. This trail is 9 miles of mostly downhill.

If you choose to return to the Valley with the van, you will have the rest of the day to hike one of the shorter, easier trails or some moderate trails to the waterfalls, rent a bike, visit the museums, shop, float down the river in a raft (depends on time of year), or just relax by the river or in a meadow. In the late afternoon, we reconvene and head back to San Francisco arriving around 9 PM.

Yosemite Winter 2 Day Hotel:

Our Winter Yosemite Tours are perfect for people that want to experience Yosemite Park without the hustle and crowds of the summer months. Majority of this tour is self-guided. You will begin the tour following the itinerary of one of our Yosemite Day Tours. After a guided tour of the valley you will then have the freedom to explore the solitude and serenity of the Sierra Nevada mountains on your own. Hike along the valley floor, join a Ranger program or enjoy a warm drink by the fire at the Ahwanee Hotel, the choice is entirely up to you! Your accommodations will be in the Yosemite Lodge located in the center of the Yosemite Valley. As the winter Yosemite Hotel Tour is self-guided, you will be travelling to Yosemite with one tour group and returning the next day with a different group. The second day you will have to day to enjoy this winter wonderland before you rendevouz with another of our day tours (approximately 3pm) for a trip back to San Francisco. With fewer visitors and more solitude, some people say that Yosemite is the best in the winter months.

Please provide you hotel information on the order form. We pick up at hotels in the major tourist areas of San Francisco. Pick up is NOT available from the Airport and outlying areas. We can meet you at the 4th Street Caltrain Station and major hotels close to BART stations in San Francisco.

Discounts are offered for children under 12 years. The rate applies to infants as they will be occupying a seat of their own. Infants, by law, are not permitted to sit on their parents lap. If you have an infant who requires a child seat, please bring your personal child seat as Incredible Adventures does not provide child seats. There are no other discounts. No senior rate offered.

Incredible Adventures promotes Green, sustainable tourism. They have a fleet of vehicles that operate on Biodiesel fuel to protect the natural areas they visit. THey are the first and only tour company in the United States dedicated to using Biodiesel as the primary source of fuel for their tour vehicles. This commitment helps keep our natural areas clean and green.

All of the vehicles have dual air conditioning, heat and custom stereo with PA systems. They are concerned with the environmental impact of the tours, because of this they utilize 15 passenger Biodiesel vans and small groups.

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected upon confirmation of your tour. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover CardsPayment in advance by major credit card; Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy

Minimum 20% fee charged for any cancellations once the tour is booked. Cancellations less than 72 hours before trip departure are charged 30% of the total price. Cancellations less than 24 hours before trip departure are charged 50% of the total price. Cancellations less than 12 hours before trip departure and No-Shows are charged 100%.

No-Shows are not entitled to any refund and so are responsible for the full amount (100%) of the trip price. Customers are considered a No-Show if they cancel the morning of the trip, are not at the designated pickup location at the correct time, or for any other reason miss a tour without informing Incredible Adventures at least 12 hours prior to departure (such as not giving us their hotel info).

Incredible Adventures Tours assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Weather permitting. If seasonal fog obscures the view, tour route may be altered. Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included. Incredible Adventure reserves the right to change the size of the vehicle to meet demand for tours.
